Before and After!
The top picture is the morning of the surgery (before) That morning she measured in at 5' 3 1/4". Laura is 5' 4" The bottom picture was just taken a day ago. Natasha finally is taller than her mother. We are told that she may actually get taller once the brace is off - because until healing takes place the body still wants to slump a little bit.
I better watch out, she's catching up to me. Continuing to pray that God gives full healing and recovery.

That is incredible! Dusti wondered if she would ever be able to do her droopy walk again? :-) When he saw I was writing this, he tried to erase it because he was embarrassed. I told him Natasha might need a good laugh, so I wanted to share it. I was laughing out loud. He was actually feeling bad for her because she would have to walk straight & not be able to walk "droopy" anymore! :-)

I was so happy to see another post. Thank you, Daryl, for taking the time to give us another post and update. I was just thinking the other day that Natasha might be taller after her surgery. But I didn't realize how much taller. Thank God for all of His grace to you all this far, and there will be new grace for all of the tomorrows.
Love you all,
Phillip and family in Colombia

This comment in from Natasha's Gram!

"Good to see that smile, Natasha! There are lots of people praying for you. I had to speak at the Anderson Chapter of WOW on Monday evening and Ladies that I didn't even were asking about you and assuring me that they were praying for you as you heal. God is good to provide this surgery for you and is sufficient as you heal. I can only imagine how you must hurt and want you to know that I don't forget you. Love, Gram"

This comment is from our dear friends in Hobe Sound, FL:

I tried to comment on your blog, but forget all that setting up an account, etc. It is so good to see you smiling, Girl. Even better to see you standing tall and smiling. I do pray EVERYONE is getting better sleep these days and catching up. I called someone just the other evening for "just a minute" and was on the phone till after midnight, then got awakened a couple other times before morning -- all very worthy interruptions but, Boy! did I feel it when the alarm went off. My first thoughts went to you all and the sleepless nights you've had. I know it takes a while to catch up but I pray it's happening and that you can see the bright rays of light "at the end of this tunnel". Love, Marilyn

Wow! What a difference. Many people would want to grow a little taller, but would not want to go through what you have gone through to get there. It's great to see your smiling face. I have shared your new pictures with the kids and they wanted me to let you know that they are still praying for you. We love you!
